I will try to be organised :? – I think it’s important to split out the different kinds of bingo bonus (BB) offered and talk about them super-separately, before craftily combining them together again. These are:

  1. No Deposit Bingo Bonus -  no deposit required BBs
  2. Bingo Sign-up Bonus – BBs you get when you register and make your first deposit
  3. Bingo Re-deposit Bonus – BBs available on subsequent deposits
  4. Other bingo bonuses – e.g. loyalty points, chat game prizes, friend referrals, Facebook “Likes” etc.

In this short list, 1 and 2 are often included together as part of a bingo welcome bonus package. Note also that 2 and 3 are both a kind of bingo deposit bonus – you have to deposit money in order to earn the BBs offered. I think it is helpful to separate them because a bingo site’s sign-up bonus will usually be bigger than its redeposit bonus, if it has one. So let’s look at 1-4 separately and see how important they are when you are trying to which is the best site to play bingo online.

1. Bingo Bonus, No Deposit Needed

There are relatively few sites with these – read more in my no deposit bingo sites page. And if you can get a no deposit bingo bonus then it will often only be possible to spend it on bingo and not slot or side games. It is always important to read the terms and conditions carefully to understand what restrictions exist if and when you win-luvly-win any money-luvly-money :D .

All no deposit bingo sites have specific conditions for withdrawing money supposedly designed to help prevent fraud (but also to make it a little tricksier for us to win free bingo money  ). These so-called ‘withdrawal requirements’ usually say something like, “spend N times any bonus received before making a withdrawal of prize-money won from tickets purchased with BBs”.

So the good thing is that you can play bingo for money for free at these Internet bingo websites – and try out a new bingo website without risking any of your personal super-special ££. The downside is you need to be careful when taking out your money, although this is true at all sites really and if you are a normal player that just wants gr8 value bingo these are good options :) .

2. Bingo Sign-up Bonus

This bonus bingo sites give is very common. More precisely it is a first deposit bingo bonus – once you make your first deposit at a bingo website you will receive a specified amount of BBs. These will usually be a percentage of your deposit and will require a minimum amount to be spent in order to qualify – most bingo sites only give you a sign-up bonus if you spend £10 or more but there are some with lower requirements.

Bingo sites with sign-up bonuses but no, err, no deposit bingo bonus are very common and it can be tricksy to decide which is the best bingo site bonus scheme. Usually the withdrawal restrictions are less strict than at no deposit bingo sites and those at the tippety-top of their game have amazing bingo jackpot prizes and promotions:

  • Wink, Caeasars, Tasty and Posh Bingo – big weekend all expense paid trips as prizes in some bingo games, loads of nice jackpots as well as very plump bingo bonus packages :) including 200% 1st deposit bingo bonuses and a variety of exciting extras.
  • Bingo Street & RedBus Bingo – depends on spinning the wheel, £5 min, up to 2000%!
  • BingoBeez – 350% from this brand new bingo site. Wowsers!
  • Virgin Bingo – 100% on first £20 and 50% after, up to a total of £100; PayPal bingo offered.
  • Sun Bingo – 200%

3. Bingo Deposit Bonus Funtimes!

Compare the various levels of bingo deposit bonus splendidness :o at some of my top bingo sites mentioned above:

  • TeaTime Bingo – anything up to 400% possible (and more?), depending how much you spend
  • BingoBeez – 75%, e.g. if you deposit £20 they will add an extra £15 to your BBz account
  • Posh and Caesars Bingo – 50% + Posh Bingo offer 6% cashback on any losses we suffer, poor us :(
  • Back2School – 25%

You can see how tricksy this is :? – IMHO we would need to get Stephen Hawking involved if we really wanted to know what the best bingo bonus is!

4. Bingo Loyalty Schemes

Finally, occasionally you may want to consider whether a website’s reward scheme is up to scratch and what other BBz you can get in chat games etc. This is probably not as important as the other bingo bonus types mentioned but can have a significant impact on your real money bingo experience…

  • The Joy Point scheme that spreads across the Wink, Tasty, Posh and RedBus bingo sites means you can play bingo for money at very different sites, enjoy some splendid veriety-tastic funtimes and pool all your bonus bingo points earned into one pot for spending on bingo or gifts in the Joy Shop.
  • Big spenders will enjoy the schemes at TeaTime and Gone Bingo where the benefits really do get bigger the more bingo you play. This is also true at new bingo sites like BingoBeez where the top 10 spenders can win extra prizes like MP3 players.

IMHO I think the main thing to check is there actually is a loyalty scheme, and some chat games too - that at least suggests you will get a little TLC as you play ;) and have some fun at the same time :) .

So there you go, not sure whether I answered the question :? but maybe that’s because the question is more complicated than it sounds…?
