Big Brother TV Series and Bingo
We’re nearing the end of Big Brother 2011 and at least one commentator has said that the affable new presenter, Brian Dowling, is (shock, horror!) not quite as exciting as Davina! Bingo players have been chatting about Big Brother ever since online bingo was invented. So there has always been a bingo – Big Brother link, of sorts

In 2007 Celebrity Big Brother even organised “CBB bingo” – a super-special place fans could play bingo and chat about the show.

Meanwhile, the series’ more twisted fans have come up with their version of Big Brother Bingo. This game is a variation on the meeting bingo idea in which meeting attendees have bingo cards with common jargon phrases on them instead of ball numbers. There’s always someone in a meeting who will say, “take this offline” or “reinvent the wheel”! And when you hear the phrase you mark it on your card and the meeting flies by and everyone has a laugh!
Similarly, in every episode of Big Brother at some point Brian will say, “I’m so excited” or the crowd will boo, or a black car will draw up. It’s just a question of when. And that’s the genius of Big Brother Bingo .
BigBrother Bingo takes the meeting bingo idea and slots it into the BB context. So your BB Bingo card might also have things like the following on it:

- Fireworks go off

Big Brother Bingo Rules
Here’s how to enjoy a smooth BB Bingo experience:
- Think of a few more common expressions from the reality TV series. You will need at least 25.
- Open a text editor like Word and create a 5 x 5 table with empty boxes – this your blank bingo card!
- Copy the blank table as many times as you have players.
- Start filling the boxes at random.
- Call your mates and arrange a Big Brother bingo party. Choose an eviction night for maximum excitement .
- Buy a prize for the bingo winner – you can’t have a bingo game without a prize right huns!?!
